If you haven’t heard it before, here it is now…
SEX IS GOOD FOR YOU!
Good for you? Of course, it’s good for you. It feels great and it’s also good for your health. Multiple studies have been performed on the benefits of SEX and how it impacts health. The benefits could be numerous but the most studied and reported benefits include boosts in immunity, happiness, and overall well-being. The hormones released during sex can make you feel closer to your partner and also lead to an improvement in your relationship.
Regular Sexual activity, at least twice a week, promoted heart health and reduced the risk of getting hypertension. Sexual activity increases the release of a hormone called prolactin, which with the other feel-good hormones leads to better sleep. The feel-good hormones that are released during sex also decrease anxiety and stress. These hormones feed into a neural pathway called the pleasure or reward centers. Studies showed that couples who were in committed relationships were happier with frequent more sex, but this did not apply to casual or one-night stands.
